‘I don’t give a f*** about Fifa’ – Cristiano Ronaldo storms out of interview

Cristiano Ronaldo stormed out of an interview with CNN Espanyol when asked about the Fifa scandal before insisting the corruption is having no impact the on top players.
When asked if the players at Real Madrid discuss Fifa in the dressing room, the Ballon d’Or winner smirked and said they’d rather talk about ‘music, women, fashion, shoes, suitcases/bags, jewellery, about haircuts,’ instead.

Ronaldo believed he was tuning in to an interview to discuss the launch of his new sporting headphones but when the conversation instantly turned to Fifa he lost his cool, despite initially going along with the interview.

‘Do you want me to be honest? It doesn’t worry me at all. I do my profession, my job, I give me all for my club… the rest doesn’t matter to me. I don’t care what happens on the outside,’ he said.
But when the interviewer persisted with his line of questioning and moved on to the decision to host the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Portuguese international decided enough was enough and stormed out.

‘I can’t speak like that,” he says. “This is bulls***. Speak about Fifa? I don’t care about Fifa. And Qatar, I don’t give a f***. What you want me to do? Speak about product, he speaks about Fifa, come on.’ More
