Marlins Make Multiple Trades Right Before Deadline

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Marlins got a few more deals in before the end of Major League Baseball trade deadline.
The first trade involved shipping relief pitcher Sam Dyson to the Texas Rangers for catcher Tomas Telis and left-handed reliever Cody Ege.
Dyson has made 44 relief appearances this year with the Marlins, going 3-3 with a 3.68 ERA in 44 innings.
Telis, 24, was 2 for 11 in his recent six-game stint with the Rangers.

Reports: Latos trade not done between Dodgers, Marlins

The Los Angeles Dodgers reportedly acquired pitcher Mat Latos and first baseman Michael Morse in a trade with the Miami Marlins, but new reports suggest the deal is not done.
Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times first reported the deal, followed by Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald.
